Based in the Isle of Skye, Skye First Aid Trainers serves the Highlands and Islands, the North East of Scotland and beyond.
The company is run by Jack MacFarlane MBE who has had 30 years’ experience in the Royal Air Force Medical Services delivering and teaching First Aid, Casualty and Advanced Trauma Care, Major Incident Management and Practice Management.
We pride ourselves on being able to deliver training that is appropriate and relevant too you, accommodating your specific training needs, geographical and environmental demands at a location and time that is convenient to you. Our instructors are all ex–military who are qualified instructors and assessors.
Training courses are limited to a maximum of 12 students per instructor. Our courses are practical and hands on delivered in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, utilising casualty simulation, games, training aids and specialist casualty care equipment where required.
Our extensive past experience in the pre-hospital care environment enables Skye First Aid Trainers to both design and deliver training for workplaces, industry, the MOD, emergency services, outdoor pursuit centres, nurseries, schools, youth groups, child minders, hospitality organisations, sports clubs, forestry workers and mountain rescue teams.
